Cash of Kingdoms Released by Microgaming

If you are someone who keeps up with news in the online gambling industry, you would know that Cash of Kingdoms was one of the highly-anticipated games this year. Microgaming announced this title back in February at the ICE Totally Gaming event in London. After an eight-month wait, the game has finally been released.

Microgaming, known for their innovative and high-quality games, collaborated with Slingshot Studios to develop Cash of Kingdoms. This is the first game released under the official Slingshot Studios name, although their team is made up of experienced professionals who have worked in the online gambling industry for years.

Microgaming introduced Slingshot Studios to their audience in September, and although some people were skeptical due to the lack of previous success stories from the team, further research revealed that the team members have extensive experience in designing and developing popular online gambling games.

The Gameplay

The symbol fields in Cash of Kingdoms are structured as follows:

  • Five reels
  • Three rows
  • Fifteen paylines

All fifteen paylines are fixed, meaning they are active in every round. This adds to the excitement of the game, as most players prefer to have all paylines activated.

The game features 3D animations that are triggered when a winning combination is landed or during the spin itself, thanks to the special features incorporated in the game.

The symbols in Cash of Kingdoms reflect the medieval kingdom theme and include warriors, mages, archers, dwarfs, thieves, swords and shields, magic books, bows and arrows, explosive barrels, and bags full of gold. The symbols are arranged in order of value, with the warrior being the most valuable and the bag full of gold being the least valuable.

Features

Cash of Kingdoms, like most modern slot machines, includes various bonus features that enhance the gameplay. The two symbols responsible for activating these bonus rounds are wilds and scatters. Wilds can substitute for other regular symbols and can appear as stacked symbols on reels 2 and 3. During the free spins, wilds become super stacked.

The Invading Wilds feature turns full stacks of wilds on reels 2 and 4 into wild reels, and when both reels 2 and 3 are invaded, the third reel also becomes wild. Wins during the Free spins with the Invading Wilds feature will be doubled.

Scatter symbols appear only on the three middle reels and can activate 10 Free spins while paying out 2x of the total stake. It is also possible to re-activate Free spins by landing additional scatter symbols.

Betting Span

In response to the increasing popularity of online gambling, developers and casinos have been striving to offer a wider range of products to meet the diverse preferences of customers. For Cash of Kingdoms, Microgaming decided on a betting range that starts at a minimum bet of 0.01 per line and goes up to a maximum of 32 coins per line. The total maximum bet is 480.00 (or the equivalent in the chosen currency).

The betting panel in Cash of Kingdoms is located in a separate window, which can be accessed by clicking the “Chip” button on the left side of the reels. In this window, players can adjust the number of coins per line and the coin value.
