Global Gaming Expo Asia Puts the Spotlight on Asia and its Gaming Sector this May 2017
Global Gaming Expo Asia (G2E Asia) is a trade show and exposition in the iGaming industry that provides stakeholders with the opportunity to network, explore the latest news and trends, and showcase new products and services. Traditionally, these events have been held in Europe and the United States, but G2E Asia is different as it focuses on the Asian market. This year, G2E Asia was held in Macau from May 16 to 18, and it aimed to highlight the status of iGaming in Asia.
G2E Asia, hosted by the American Gaming Association (AGA) and Reed Exhibition, is a one-stop sourcing platform for the casino industry in Asia. It brings together internet gaming and casino entertainment stakeholders, as well as casino operators, to collaborate on developing responsive casino products and services. The event serves as a networking opportunity, with over 120 future technology leaders attending to share insights and inspire casino operators. Macau, known as the heart of casino entertainment in Asia, has been the host city for this event.
The conference not only serves as a platform for networking, but also provides informative sessions on the current status and projections of the Asian casino market. Industry leaders, including Mr. Francis Lui, the Deputy Chairman of Galaxy Entertainment, deliver keynote speeches to inform participants about the state of the industry. PricewaterhouseCooper (PwC) focuses on the potential of Japan as an emerging casino destination in Asia, projecting billions of dollars in revenue. Additionally, the conference addresses security and fraud threats in the casino segment, discussing best practices for casino operators to address these issues.
G2E Asia 2017 aims to emphasize the future of casino entertainment and gaming, with a focus on boosting revenues and driving tourism in the industry. It serves as a valuable platform for stakeholders to come together, exchange ideas, and collaborate on the advancement of the casino industry in Asia.
