NetEnt has maintained the same design as Reel Rush 1 but has given it an enhanced appearance. The game is also more visually appealing with carts passing on a track at the bottom of the game window. The audio is similar to the original game but with a funkier beat, including soundbites for the extra features.

Reel Rush 2 Slot Features
The gameplay in Reel Rush 2 is similar to the original game. Certain positions start off blocked, but as the game progresses and wins are achieved, these positions unlock, providing access to more potential combinations and ways to win.
The standard Wild Symbol appears on reels 2-5 and substitutes for all other symbols. The main bonus feature of the slot is the re-spin feature with the reel expansion mechanic. Each win in the base game triggers the grid to open blocked positions and expand gradually. The grid continues to expand until either the Free spins are triggered or no new win occurs on a re-spin. If no win is achieved, the game window resets to default, and the player is paid out.
During each spin or re-spin, players will see a train with three cards emerging from the right tunnel. The train can carry up to three icons, each representing a random feature. It’s important to note that the train doesn’t trigger the bonus on every appearance. A total of eight random modifiers can be triggered on each spin:
Awards a re-spin even on a losing spin. The reels will spin one more time to potentially land a win. The grid will not expand.
Unlocks 2-4 blocks to expand the game grid. Unlocking the final blocks will trigger Free spins, even on a losing spin.
One to three Wilds are placed randomly on reels two, three, four, and five.
Provides a win multiplier of 5x, 10x, 15x, or 20x for a random symbol in view.
The symbol on the cart upgrades all matching symbols in view to the next higher-value symbol on the paytable.
Extra Super Tokens
Awards 3 to 15 Super Tokens to the meter on the left side of the screen.
Extra Free Spins
Adds +1 Free spins; available only in the Free spin mode.
Increases the progressive multiplier in the Super Free Spins mode by 1x.
Players may be wondering about the meter on the left and Super Tokens. Reel Rush 2 offers two types of Free spins. Regular Free spins are played on a full 5×5 format, while Super Free spins come with a progressive win multiplier. To activate the Super Free Spins, players need to collect at least 2,000 Super Tokens. There are three ways to earn Super Tokens:
- Random Extra Super Tokens
- Unlocking Blocks
- Super Free Spins Upgrade
Reel Rush 2 is a greatly improved version of its predecessor. It has taken all the cool features from the first game and added random features and unique extras, creating a much more enjoyable gaming experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our time playing the demo version of the game and will definitely be playing it for real money once it is released on November 7, 2019.
The creative development team and game designers at NetEnt have done a fantastic job, making the game more appealing, especially to low rollers who will appreciate the reduced minimum bet from 0.50 to just 0.20 credits per spin.
