Book of Dead by Play’n GO Drops to Second Place
December has been a busy month for online casinos, and this is reflected in the quality of both new and classic slots played for real money. Starburst reigned as the favorite for several months before Book of Dead took over in February 2019.
In the latest rankings, eight new slot games have been added to the list. The highest-ranking new game is Sweet Bonanza Christmas, coming in at fifth place. Pragmatic Play contributed four titles to the list, and other renowned studios also featured their games. Popular new additions include Eye of Horus Megaways by Blueprint Gaming, Polar Paws by Playtech, Finn’s Golden Tavern by NetEnt, and Santa vs Rudolf by NetEnt. Notably, several of the newly added games have a Christmas theme, fitting for the December rankings.

How iGaming Tracker Works
iGaming Tracker determines its monthly ranking of top slots by closely monitoring online casinos across several European countries including the United Kingdom, Norway, Italy, Sweden, Denmark, and Germany. The rankings are based on the position of the games throughout the month on the 50 largest online casinos in Europe. Only the main pages of the casinos and their top 10 most popular positions are considered for tracking. Pages exclusive to specific operators are excluded from the results processing.
To calculate the rank, the team calculates the total number of hours each online slot was included in the top 10 positions during the given month. Each qualifying casino page is monitored once daily. The slot ranking specifically excludes other casino games such as live dealer titles and card games.
